April has arrived, and on a Friday to boot. That means we have the second Friday Five of Spring and the first of the month of April. I’m personally hoping that the rainy days of April are a heck of a lot warmer than March was. If this spring doesn’t get any warmer soon, I’m going to pack my bags and move to someplace sunny like Florida. *shudder* That’s enough yammering…on with the Five!
If you haven’t noticed, I’m tired of the cold weather. It is frigid, gray, and drizzly for a while and I’m through. So when I happened across this delightful video of gay boys and the women who love them celebrating a birthday with an Endless Summer theme, I was 100000000000% jealous (and not because they are all pretty adorable). So here is to the summer I’m dreaming of in the coldest spring ever.
Angry Birds: The Movie
Speaking of summer, the ads for all the hotly anticipated summer movies are coming out and we are getting geared up for some good ol’ fashioned popcorn flicks, you know the kind that feature Chris Evans as a manorexic who becomes a Greek god. I’m also anticipating some of the really lame adaptations of apps for your smart phone. This wouldn’t be so hilarious if it weren’t for the fact that I’m almost sure that Hollywood would make such a travesty. Without further adieu, I give you the trailer for the most highly anticipated waste of time ever.
My High School Boyfriend was Gay
Now let me take you back to a simpler time. A time when I was more likely to watch a popcorn flick with my brothers. A time before I was even gay (or I guess way less gay than I am now). High School. We all have awful memories of High School. Now those openly gay boys and the ladies who dated them in High School can reminisce about time-gone-by with the the help of this tumblr site.
Even further back in time is infancy. And infants are more documented today than ever before. And their moments are uploaded on the internet for the amusement of thousands and millions of others. Just this week, I saw a clip of a pair of young twins seemingly “talking” to each other. What would normally be baby babble is mesmerizing when then babies speaking are identical twins who demonstrate their actions with their arms and legs. I hope you enjoy!
Now that we’ve reflected on summer, High School and infants, we should deal with a real problem affecting the women of the world: Camel Toe. For those of you who aren’t aware, Camel Toe is when a woman’s lady parts are on full display through the clothe of her pants. It is both unsightly and horrifying for those of us who don’t have lady parts and/or don’t want to see them at all. Thankfully some British lady came up with the Smooth Groove.
So the first five things of April have been pronounced: Endless Summer, Angry Birds: The Movie, My High School Boyfriend was Gay, Twin Speak, & Smooth Groove. Those are the five awesome things we found on the web this week, but that’s not all there is! What five things are you excited about?
