Congratulations, Jere!

As I’m sure many of you guessed, the point of yesterday’s blog post was to see if you know the difference between “isle” and “aisle.”  It was simply a grammar test.

Congratulations to Jere for first identifying the [intentional] mistake!

isle /īl/ Noun
An island or peninsula, esp. a small one.

aisle /īl/ Noun
1. A passage between rows of seats in a building such as a church or theater, an airplane, or a train.
2. A passage between shelves of goods in a supermarket or other building.
